What a find! This hotel is an hour out of Rome in a beautiful medieval village. The hotel was perfect for our needs and very good value for money. It was the last night of our 3 week holiday and we spent the evening sitting in the square amongst the locals practicing our very bad Italian. Both the hotel and the village are perfect for people who have their own transport.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the accommodation and service provided. The staff were extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect, offering stunning views of the mountains and easy access to the nearby town. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a lovely view of the extensive and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was a delightful start to the day, with delicious homemade cakes and coffee made exactly to our liking.
All was satisfactory during our stay.

The hotel facilities were lovely and had a lot of history with old-looking furniture and beautiful gardens with fountains and grass to sit on. The location was perfect, situated in a beautiful city on a hill overlooking some gorgeous countryside, yet still convenient close to the town center, while free parking was available at the hotel. The staff, especially Sofia, were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was superb, including a super cappuccino.
Everything was spot on.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Stylish and well furnished rooms.
Despite the website suggesting the opposite, the hotel had no internet when I was there. They let me use their own, but this was not satisfactory, and I should have been warned when I booked my room.

Lovely setting, peaceful and a short walk from the centre of town
Restaurant not open to residents for evening meals, although we knew this before booking

Spending Christmas holidays in this charming village was amazing. The hotel's location allowed us to walk to all the local attractions and enjoy the beauty of the town. The helpful staff was a plus -- they gave us great tips on what to visit and where to eat. The breakfast was full of delicious options which were enjoyed by all. The historic building was a feast for the eyes with its beautiful architecture and design.
We were disappointed to find out that the in-house restaurant was not available during our stay. It would have been nice to have that option during the Christmas period.

We had a nice sized room with windows on three sides of the building with views of the old city. Convenient to walk into the old city.
The shower was really small - almost impossible to manoeuver in without either shutting off the water or pushing the doors open.

This is an excellent hotel with clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly and attentive staff. It is a converted woollen mill and has lovely gardens and plenty of car parking space. It is situated in a historic and beautiful town in the mountains, with stunning views. The buffet breakfast has an excellent choice.
It is unfortunate that, with such a beautiful restaurant area, it is not used for evening (or mid-day) meals. It appears only to be used for events such as marriages or other celebrations. However, there are several places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. There is currently no internet available here for guests.
